For the most part, I am fine using my flip phone. My basic communication needs are met. I can call and text people. People can call and text me. And I don’t mind when people spot my phone, roll their eyes, and mutter, “pitiful.” But I know I’m missing creative opportunities. I can’t take decent photos and videos. It would be a heck of a lot easier for me to tweet, which my agent is begging me to do, so I can build my audience. It’s time for me to bite the bullet and invest in a new phone.
If I’d had a smart phone with me last night, I’d have taken a picture of the NYC’s Bryant Park, lit up in all its Christmas glory. I’ve been In NYC performing with The Moth, meeting with a possible new director for my show, and meeting with the literary agent about the book — we are making huge progress!
If it works for you at this time, I’d love your help with writing the book. Please make your tax deductible donation here — just a little more than two weeks left to donate! The perks are GREAT! Now, I’ll leave you with this internet image, which next time, will be provided by me.
